The 2023 Africa Day Sport Festival featured a family-friendly 4-team community exhibition at Curtin University parallel to the Organisation of African Communities WA Africa Day Celebration.

A large crowd gathered to celebrate Africa Day and see teams Liberia, Edmund Rice Centre, Zambia and Zimbabwe play short exhibition games to the Perth sunset and under lights. Team Liberia won their two matches and took the trophy and medals, while all enjoyed the inter-community harmony that came from people of many different backgrounds and playing styles coming together.
